Hi, how do you create the short cut icon for the Desktop on the bottom of your screen? Thanks!!!

Do you mean the 'Show Desktop' icon on the Quick Launch toolbar (assuming you have desktop update installed)?

If so thread779-576253 from XP forum might be useful.

Wolluf, thanks for the info! The thread that you refered to is about XP...but, I'm using NT...I guess it work for me :(

To my knowledge NT does not support any Quick Launch icons on the Taskbar. If any one knows a hack, would be greatly appreciated.

To get Quick Launch icons, you need to install Active Desktop. Unfortunately, the only place I know where to get it is Internet Explorer 4. This will also give you the 'Show Desktop' icon.

I'm not sure if 'Show Desktop' will work without Active Desktop installed...

thatrenowned is correct about IE4 & Active Desktop and it is a pain in the butt even if you have all the IE flavors and how to Q articles to make it work.
Might be easier to just use the Windows Key + M to minimize all windows.
Laptops & KBs without the windows key obviously won't work.
