Short codes for external numbers not working after conv. analog to PRI and from 3 to 4 digit dialing

IP Office 500 V2. Firmware 8.0.42 with 9630G phones.

I had programmed the system for this client to dial external numbers using a three digit short code. For example, 000 dialed a 1 + 10 digit number. It worked GREAT until...

This client converted from analog trunks to a 12 channel PRI circuit and from three digit to four digit extensions. Since that conversion this feature hasn't worked.

I have tried changing the short codes to *601 but that didn't help. The error we get is "incompatible" The crazy part is any extension that doesn't have an incoming call route IS able to use the short codes. I don't understand how this can have any relationship with the issue since all of the extensions start with a 3 or 8 and have nothing to do with the short codes.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a bone that they could throw to me? This is driving me nuts!

Why do you use a 3 digit shortcode for this?
Use a prefix and then send the call to ARS..

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

They have 30 phone numbers that they want to dial using a three or four digit code. Their old system did this, so they asked for this to be on their new IP Office.

These are all outside numbers and are 1+10 digit. If there is a better way to dial all of these numbers I am open to suggestions :)

If a user has a incoming call route then that ddi number is send out over ISDN as CLIP info.
If the provider does not recognise this number as a valid number in their ddi numbering plan they may drop the call.
Try to add a W in the shortcodes and see what happens
i.e.
SC = 601
TN = 0987678828W
Line ID = PRI line
Action = dial

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

Thank you for the suggestion intrigrant, but addind a w to the shortcode didn't work.

I had tried putting in a shortcode to send that extension number as well and it didn't help.

The strangest part is this works when there is no incoming call route for the extension. Then I can use the short codes. When I add an incoming call route it stops working.
