Guys,

Hope you are all well. One of my clients who is still on Ip office 2.1 has a dedicated line which is for one indivdual. This is on a different Line ID. However if someone dials *30 pickup any calls they can also pick up this phone whihc the client does not want. they want to keep the shortcode *30 but dont want anyone to be able to pick it up apart from the user who has the dedicated line.

I have checked and the User and Line ID are difefrent from the rest of the office but their calls are still being picked up by anyone dialling *30

Any ideas how i can stop this?

You need to change the way they are using the short codes.

You are using a feature called call pick up any, it will do that.

You need to use a call pick up members short code and create a group containing everybody bar that person.
