Hello All...thanks in advance for your help.
We have two IP Office units - New York and Los Angeles. Both have T1's for voice. Both are connected - interoffice - over a point to point MPLS connection. Both are able to dial extensions in either office as follows:
NY: Dial 8+Extension to get to LA extensions.
LA: Dial 8+Extension to get to NY extensions.
The reason we use 8+Extension is because both offices have the same extension ranges...5xxx
The above works fine, however we want to expand our use of VOIP as follows:
What I want to do is allow users on either site to be able to dial 8+1+Number to make a phone call. EG. If I dial 812125551212 from NY it should go over our mpls to the LA ip office and dial a long distance call eg 912125551212. Vice Versa if a user in LA dials 812125551212 the system should come to the NY IPOffice and dial 912125551212.
I have tried different settings in ARS and User Rights..I cant seem to figure it out. Please help...
