We are students and have networked our house, we share stuff around the network, when we connect to PC's running 2000pro we have to enter the persons Username and password but when connecting to an XP machine we do not have to do anything! Is there any way of removing this annoying logon box? It wont even let you log on to the share as guest?

Add your user logons to all the 2k machines (ie, if you're called Andy Steve and Mark, make sure all 3 of you have accounts on all of the 2k machines with your usual logon name and password), then it'll authenticate automatically and you won't gat asked.
