2 computer are there one in the office and one in home
the home computer running windows xp pro and it is accessing internet through ADSL connection and there is a modem fixed in this computer
the office pc is running windowsxp pro also.
how to configure both systems so the office pc can browse internet when DUN established with a home pc.
I did established DUN between both pcs and it is working v.good for files transfering and browsing shared folder but the internet not working at all on the remote pc.
what I missed
the IP on the remote pc shown as follows
ip 169.254.1.12
subnet 255.255.255.255
gatewau 169.254.1.12
I think gateway is not correct but how to set it in windows xp ,,, no fileds in TCB/IP properties
if I can do that using a 3party software plz guide me
regards

Hi,

I nerver use DUN, but you can check your DUN properties, tcp/ip properties, advanced. Make sure that use gateway on remote network is uncheck. It called split tunneling.
