I have a template that has a custom tool bar. Sometimes when I open the document that was created using this template with the custom toolbar, the toolbar no longer is seen and is not listed in the Customize area. Any idea what the problem could be. It is happening on different PC's so it is not specific to mine.

Also is there a way to put this toolbar into other documents that were NOT created originally by the template?

Thank You.
Sharon

I'm not positive but I believe the toolbar is part of the program configuration and is not related to the template.

The toolbar won't "follow" the template.

Here you go!

1. Select View->Toolbars->Customize
2. Click the "Attach" button in the "Toolbars" tab
3. Select the toolbars you want to attach and press the "Copy>>" button

That's it! ;-)

I don't see an Attach button on the Customize tab of the dialog box....I'm using Word 2002.

Ooops,

I guess I should have realized that when I read "Document" instead of "Workbook".

I thought you were using Excel.

Unfortunately, if Word doesn't have an "Attach" button (like Excel does), then I have no idea how (or if) you can do that. But I would think that there must be a way.

Good Luck!

I have a similar question so I hope you don't mind me posting it here. I created a custom toolbar for an Access application. I want to add a button to is for "help" that would have a general message as to how to contact me, the help.

I would like to use this toolbar for all of my applications, but I don't want to have to set it up for each app. Is there a way to bring it over from one app to another?

Thanks for any insight.
