Here's my situation: Viewing both My office LAN and the Internet from Windows 2000 Server.

I have three notebooks on a hub, and I need one that dials up to my Windows 2000 server to give them all Internet and Intranet access. How is it possible? For instace, I can only view either the Local Area Network at the office, but if I want to go to a web page, it drops my LAN access so that it can access the web. Not both. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Put a modem in the server to dial up to get internet resolution , Then add a second card to the server , With in win2k server you would have to add routing and rass as well as dhcp , When all said and done in r/rass add nat Networking addres Translation !
you will have 2 interfaces one public one private
The modem would be your public interface
the nic card would be yout private interface
The nic would go to your hub and then you would be able to have as many pc's hooked up at the same time to get internet access for as big of a DHCP scope you create
