Hi,
I'm trying to help someone with a situation I've not come across before.
They have a workgroup of Win98 PC's and have recently introduced a WinXP box into the mix.
They have shares on the Win98 PC's which are protected by passwords.
For some reason, the XP box can browse the shares on the Win98 boxes without being prompted for a password. As a result, though the files are browsable, they can't do anything with them.
So, it seems that I need a way to ensure the XP box IS asked for a password, very weird.
