Hi all I want to install Sharepoint 2007 onto a non domain server sitting on a DMZ.

This sharepoint server is going to be used as a web portal for trustees of the company so they need non domain user accounts.

Is it possible to set up Sharepoint to have non domain user accounts so the trustees can log on to it from the internet?

You can setup sharepoint to use forms based authentication.
It's not hard, but there are a few steps. I would recommend searching google for a walkthrough on how to do it.
