I have a shared mailbox and if a domain user delete's an email or folder from this mailbox, it ends up in the users recycle bin....

is there any way to change this? I'd like it to go to the recycle bin of the shared mailbox.... I have permissions set for most users set to 'Read Only', but there are select few that need full permissions and I've been running into problems with this...

Don't think you can do that.

There is only ONE decent solution to this type of issue, educate the user(s).
Also, you should not even try to re-engineer things just because users don't think about their actions. Before you know, you will not be doing anything else, and, worse, remember it all during a recovery or upgrade.
