I have almost reached the end of my fuse with this.
On a regular day; I handle basic, day-to-day, troubleshooting (plug mouse in...). Recently I have been stepped up to build a new domain from scratch, mimicking as best I could the current set up.
I have created the user accounts, but I need a group of users - based in a call center - to share a mandatory profile with heavy GP's applied.
The shared profile doesn't seem to be a problem, but the GP's aren't applied.
The first machine was fine, logging in with 3 of the 4 accounts I had created.
Feeling confident I tried to log on using 3 more machines to find that the first node was applied and the more recent 3 had no GP assigned.
The porfile is \\server\profiles\pods, with the NTuser file renamed to .man.
I have seperated the group policy files into 'logical' parts so to make it easier to undo items, applying one at a time makes no difference.
From my pitiful attempt at explaining, is there anyone who has had any similar experience or knowledge - ANYTHING is gratefully accepted!
Many thanks in advance,
Simon
