Shape control on top of other controls

I am doing a slection tool that i can drag and size on a form
problem is the control i am using a shape control appears below any other controls on the form? how do i force the Shape control on top of them?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Use the Z-Order method.
You can set the Z-Order to 1 (behind everything) or 0 (in front of everything).

the zorder for a picture boz control does not work, the control always stays behind the other controls
