Occasionally, after Windows causes an error of some sort, several program icons are missing from the system tray, including Norton AntiVirus, Volume, Audio Mixer, and dial-up internet connection. So far, the only way I can get these back is to restart. Any help on this?

What is the exact error you recieve? When exactly are you getting it? Also, some system specs and info like your OS, how much RAM, and all the programs that load at boot would help diagnose your problem.

Hi alwaysneedinhelp, What type of errors are you getting?
What OS are you running? Hope this helps!

I'm running Windows ME. This problem is caused when my dial-up Internet connection quits working (as though it is disconnected, however, status shows to be connected.)If I click Disconnect, it freezes up, then I press ctrl+alt+del and the following programs are not responding: Bcmdmmsg, Sk9910dm, Mdm, and I think there is another one, but I'll have to wait for it to happen again to be sure. After clicking End Task on the programs, Windows restarts. Is this enough info to give a clue as to what might be wrong?
