My Buddy gave me a copy of DVD-Cloner and when I try to install it I get the message: "c:\docume~1\owner\locals~1\temp\setup.msg Please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the software"
Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.........John

This is likely caused due to corrupt files in your Temp Folder.

Click on Start > Click on Run > Type cleanmgr > Click ok > Select the C: drive from the dropdown box > Click OK > Your drive will then be scanned > Make sure you select at least the "Temporary Files" entry and then click on OK. This will then remove the temporary files from your system.

Now try the installation again,

Also I know that you would not be discussing a friend giving you an illegal copy of an application that costs $59.99 on this forum, would you?
