SETUP ALIAS TO FORWARD TO MULTPLE USER ACCOUNTS

How is it possible setup an alias or user account, which will forward email sent to that account to multiple Exchange users in my domain? It needs to work like a distribution list.

I see a couple of ways to do what you want.

First, you could create a group, assign members to it and mail enable that group. Then everyone in that group would receive that email.

Second, (probably less likely to meet your expectations), create a public folder, set permissions for only those people to see the folder and mail enable that folder. Mail would post to that folder and people would need to actually open the folder and read the email. Also one big drawback, depending on permissions: if one person deleted that email it would not be there for others to read.

Thank you. Yes your information did HELP. I created a Global\Distribution Group and added users I wanted to receive email from the one address. This works GREAT!
