setting up www.xxx.com for intranet web

I have my webserver and dns server runnig on win2k but connected to intranet only then didn't how to configure a DNS server on it. I'm browsing my site using the ip address of my server in order to connect to my site( now i want my user to just type in in order to connect to my site what should i do to make this possible
 
Welllllllll, is just a DNS task.
Let's say that you have in the DNS zone of your internal DNS server, a domain named: mycompany.com
Then, you go to DNS administration tool and check if your webserver has an A reccord there (eg: serverx 192.168.100.2).
Then create an alias (CNAME) record named: will be an alias for your webserver (eg: for server "serverx" create an alias "That's all. Gia Betiu
