Setting up OWA Front End

I have mixed 5.5 and Exch2K3 environment in test. I setup the backend server for OWA with SSL cert etc for testing. I then implemented a front end server, but I am unable to logon to a mailbox.
I have the check mark set for this will be a front end server...the server is not in a DMZ...

Any ideas?

You really should consider putting OWA on the Front-End Server.

yes I know that...I have a Front End server setup...however I cannot access mailboxes on the BE...

I then implemented a FE server on the same network...I am unable to get to mailboxes.

If I understand you correctly, you now have 2 OWA setups?
You should eliminate the BE one then.

Ok so the BE being setup is causing the problem with mailbox access?

Well, that would be my first guess, yes.
If you have multiple server, you either work with multiple OWA, on different ports, or you configure it on the FE to access them all.
