We have a product installed called WinGate which is a proxy application on our terminal server. I need to setup the client side portion. The install program is the same executable but will prompt is this is a server or client install. Since it has been installed as a server already how can I install it as just the client install and not interfere with the server install. It only needs to be utilize by the client who terminal in. Can I install it in a dedicated program folder for just the endusers?

Thanks for your help!

If you cant install the client onto the Windows Server in the normal mode you won't be able to do it in a TS (TS is NOT a virutal machine only a virtual session).

I doubt you can install the client onto the server - but why not try wingates support department.

Can you not use proxying or NAT?

Ash.

If I remember correctly, you don't necessarily need to intall the client agant on the workstations. The server installation should be sufficient to serve the needs of the clients.

You also need to consider which mode terminal services has been intalled, application or remote admin. I think it may play a role when it comes to your problem

BigDirk.
