Setting Up An Application with Windows Installer

Hi everybody,

I was used to the Package and Deployment Wizard shipped with VB to create the setup files for an application. This was long time ago. I now realize that application setup is made through the Windows Installer. Can you please advise where I can find relevant facility.

P & D W is still there, and still works as it did. However Visual Installer is available here:

thanks for the usefull link.

The problem with the P&DW is the boostrap files which do not get installed in W 2000 and W XP. So far I was manually removing these files from the setup.lst. Hope that Windows Installer will solve this.
