Setting up a WINS Server

We have a small LAN - 4 NT Servers and approx 20-25 client
computers. We need to set up WINS. Is it necessary in a small environment like ours to have 2 WINS Servers, the Primary and Secondary, or is just one enough.

Hi,

One WINS server is fine, but it is always good to have a secondary as well, for backup purposes. You would configure replication between the 2 WINS servers, thus having a backup of the main WINS database.
