We can add users to Citrix very easily. However, to setup some of their apps, like IE6 and Outlook 2000, we need to signon as them to set the settings for them. We want all our users to have the same settings, etc. I know there has to be a better way. Any suggestions?

Thanks

A couple of ways, depending on your setup.

For IE - use the IEAK to deploy it. If it's too late for that, use User Policies to set the registry settings.

For Outlook - Use the Office Resource Kit to deploy (O2K) or a combination of ProfGen with NewProf. Details available on Technet/MS Website.

Another option is to create a new user, set it up with all the generic settings in IE etc, then log off and save the profile to the Default user profile. This will make whatever you have set up the default for any NEW users. The problem is that you can't use ANY personal info, as it will go into all profiles.

Cheers,
Sam
