Is it possible in Win2k pro or XP pro to configure a machine to be a webpage server for a LAN? If so, how? Are there any special tools/software needed?
Also, is it possible to make one machine a webserver for two different sites on the same ip address, or would a second address be needed?
This is for a simulation network that doesn't touch the outside world. One of the simulations has an option for you to prepare an xml page for it to read from a URL source for game data specific to that machine.
A WinXP solution would be preferrable since that is what the machines are currently loaded with, but I do have the option of setting up a Win2k machine if needed.
Thanks for any assistance.
