Set User Permissions to Just a Printer.

Hello All,
I need to lock a user to just being able to print from a printer on my domain, any ideas are appricated.

It's always a PEBKAC problem.

You can share the printer and assign rights just like any other resource. Right click on the printer share and select the Security tab. Add the group/user you wish to have only the print access right

Does the user log in to your domain at all?

If not, just set him up to print directly to that printer via TCP/IP printing.

Hello,

I do taht and I see my user name but when I come later on the security tab, I get the SID instead of the user's name.
All works perfectly but it's not very cool to see a SID !
