Set up conference call?

I need to set up a conference call between 2 people inside on different extensions and one outside line. How can this be done? Sorry for the basic question but I'm prety new at this.

The system provides for conferencing on a primary extension. All that needs to be done is have one of your internal people call the other and then press the 'conf' button on there phone. This will place the original call on hold and grab another dial tone on a multi-appearance set. The user then dials the outside party and can either wait for a connection or merely press 'conf' again and all three parties are connected.

On a single line phone it is a little more complicated, though not much. On 'disp sys feat' page 7 there is a setting for allow conference via flash. If this is set to 'y' you should be able to do just then. One internal caller calls the other, quickly depresses switch hook to recall dial tone, dials the outside party and presses the switch hook again to conference all parties.
