Hi I want to set up Cold fusion 5 on a XP machine.
I understand that to use Personal Web server, which is what I used a couple of years ago with windows 98, I need XP Professional version.
Does IIS come with XP Professional?
What is a good server to use with CF?
Thanks

Hey

To answer your question on WinXP Pro, yes it does come with IIS, but it is not part of the default install, you have to tell XP to install it for you.

Install IIS before you install CF, and install CF 5 first. This will then configure IIS to work with CF.

Hope this helps!

Tony
