Ok, I have racked my brain for hours. I am trying to set XP Pro workstations to a different time zone in batch or with a script. Ideally, it would work like the net time command where you can set time on workstations to sync with a server. Any Suggestions?

so, what's wrong with "net time" command in a bat file? it can be done within a vbs also using the net time command.

The net time command only sets the time, not the time zone. I am from Indiana, and we are finally discovering Daylight Savings Time. I would like to set all workstations to the same time zone as the server without going to each physical workstation.

Go to this link
Create those registry keys, place it in shared folder, and have all the users double click on the registry keys...

That should save you time from going to each workstation... You can always e-mail it as well...

Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, Method 3 can use the login script...

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I knew it should be pretty simple.
