Set the textbox.enable = true but not in Grey display

How could we show the text box in normal and we don't want to show in gray color when we set the textbox.enable = true?

When the text turn into gray color we can actually see clearly if we have too many information and text, can we keep maintain it clear and not turn to gray? Thanks

Thanks for this! but this method just same as enabled = False, what I mean is the textbox.enabled = False but the font color in the textbox is not in grey color, it still maintain to dark black color for the font color just like normal screen.

Try placing the TextBox in a PictureBox, then set the PictureBox's .Enabled property to grant or deny user access to the TextBox contained in it. This will do what you want.

Beware of your users' expectation that if the text appears normal and the background color looks "enabled", they will think that they can access it. Then later you will post a message asking how to make users complain less that your program doesn't behave like all the other programs on their computer.
