I have pc's that many users share. They logon to the network with a logon to the domain controller. But every new person that logs on as to manually set all the application settings once. Sometimes they don't know how to do this, as in Filemaker, which comes up with a default protocol of NONE every time a new person logs on. They default protocol has to be tcpip or they can't connect to our FM server.

Other things I don't want to explain constantly are the internet connection wizard - why can't that be the same for all users who log on ? How can I get around coming in to run this manually for everyone - "i connect using a LAN - I have no proxy server " , etc, etc. I want all these settings to be the same for everyone who logs into the domain. Please help!

The easies way to accomplish your goal would be to have all users use a mandatory profile.
