HI All,

I have a strange problem I thought could be fixed using the LCID Session 2057 (UK format) for an app I have.

The problem: I have a list of events with dates in an ASP page. These display fine. When I click on an update record link and go to a detail page where I can edit the event details, it reverses the Day and month in the field. Even though both pages are set to Session LCID 2057.

I end up with a date that reverses every time I update the event ie 3 Jan 08 (3/01/08) becomes 1 Mar 08 (1/03/08).

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance
Dean

Not usually being one to answer my own questions.....but, the work around I found is that in the update page use Session.LCID 1033 (being US, i think) and in the Event list page use LCID 2057. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me but it worked. By the way the database table has a short date format of dd/mm/yyyy.

This is what worked for me, if you can find a better way, I'd be keen to hear it.

Cheers

Dean
