session Attributes lost

I'm setting some session attributes in a Servlet/JSP web-app. When I connect to my server by ip address, everything works fine. When I connect by hostname, the attributes do not show up.

Help!?

curious! This happened to me once. but, I no longer have that problem. I don't remember how I got rid of it. I wonder if you have your hostname mapped to your ip addres in your hosts file? [ponder]

Thanks, but I've got everything known to man in the hosts file. I changer server.xml to my fully qualified name and not localhost, and no change.

Anyone?
