Hi

My archery club web site is written in classic asp, but I want to rewrite it in .net at some point. To that end, I asked my hosting co to move my domain to a server which has asp.net v2 installed.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but asp and .net should be able to coexist quite happily shouldn't they? I'm sure asp, asp.net 1.0, 1.1 and 2.o should be able to run on the same server?

My site just says "Service Unavailable" and the techies don't seem to know how to handle it.

As I say, my site is pure classic asp at the moment, not a mixture.

Any ideas, please?

Yes, all the languages and versions you mention above can exist on the same server so it's a configuration problem at the web hosts end.

They will have to sort it out for you and going back to them and telling them this is your only option really.
