Service Pack 3 assistance requested.

I loaded SP3 on my Win2K server. Here are the results:

->Reboots once a day
->Print spooler service won't start on reboot
->WebJetAdmin is toast
->Several 3rd party software packages and services will not run/start
->W32Time errors are back
->MAC volume rebuilds its DB on every reboot
->DNS service is just plain mad

I unloaded the service pack and reran SP2. The box is still unstable.

Does anyone know how to fix this server. It is critical and can't come offline for a rebuild.

This would be a good time to get your company to allow budget for a new server that can be used to mirror systems using Ghost, and then applying new SP, and leaving for a few months to see if it falls over.

Sadly, ashleym has hit it on the head...

There have been several problems come up about SP3, particularly in the Print redirection/spooler area, and with 3rd party (i.e. non-MS) programs.
