service pack 1 virtual file shares

I have just installed service pack 1 on my windows 2003 server, and i have found that i cannot make an UNC connection to a virtual fileshare that is located on the server itself.
Making the connection via the local driveletter is no problem, but for the services i am running i need to connect to the virtual fileserver.


Can anybody running clustering software confirm this ?
