Service Observing??

Being a die hard installer.....This 4th of July has been a bust. A customer has changed out his System 75 R1-V3 to eliminate all the Tape problems with a Definity G3-V1 with a 4 Mb Flash card. The system is working excellant except for Service Observing.

In system paramaters "Service Observing (basic) is set to "Y"

All single line ststions (CR)1,is set to be service observed.
7406D sets (CR)5 is set to be an Observer. Button is programed on set.

Upon pressing the Programmed button I get reorder???

ACD is not turned on....Is this necessary...Books says is should work in a non ACD enviroment..

Any help???? All responses will be appreciated.

Just a stab in the dark but did you give that station console permissions under its cos?

Thanks for thr reply phOneguy.....Already looked at that..
Not the cure for this problem. With the G3V1 the attendant can not be a Observer.. Attendant permissions, I think only apply to Leave word calling...to retrieve messages.

I'm sure someone will come up with the answer...I'll keep
searching..

Did you check the last page of the CORs? Make sure that on the last page of COR 5, the entry for 1 is a "Y".

Also, have you tried using the Feature Access Code instead of the button?
