Service Observe on Spectralink?

We have a call center supervisor who wants to use service observe on a spectralink phone as they walk to reps having problem calls. Anyone know if this is possible? Since upgrading to an 8710 from a Definity, we have been unable to get service observe working on the desk phones.

You should be able use the service observe feature with any phone the has a service observe COR. Check page four of your COR settings to make sure that you allow service observing to your target COR. Do a list trace on the station that is attempting to service observe when they enter the code. If it fails it should show you why.

Well, I did that and tested with a Spectralink. It works fine; but if we assign the same COR to a deskset (as someone else wants) we get wave-off when entering the feature code. The strange thing is, the person being listened to ALSO hears the wave-off.
