Hello and help,

I keep getting a server.ScriptTimeout when I pass information to an ASP page. The ASP page is a webcrawler that obviously takes longer to execute than the default of 90 seconds. I want the ASP script to run for over an hour once the starting information has been received from the user - but I don't necessarily want to send anything back to client - is there a way to do this? I may just send the user an e-mail once the web crawler has finished running.

Please help,

Thanks
Andy

Yeah but isn't there a maximum value one can put in for the server.ScriptTimeout?

not that I've heard of.

maybe a user irritable max amount of having to wait _________________________________________________________
