Server Monitoring

I have the need to monitor several (80) servers performance. By performance I basically mean cpu utilization and number of I/O requests. Over 15 min intervals. To make it more interesting all of them are using a SAN to access data. Does anyone know of any tools or programs out there to help me out with this. I am comming up pretty dry.

What about SNMP? I have zero experience w/SNMP on servers, but use it often to get info on my networking gear.
