I do not know if anyone has seen this problem or not, but I have a problem, that has me stumped.

My server Manager shows no file are open, how can that be? I have 60+ users on this server at any given time, and it always use to show all files in use so I can unlock files.

Any ideas? -db

Do you try to go to the server icon in control panel directly??

Do you try the netwach utility from the nt resource kit?

CharlyGarcia,
Thanks for the response.

I have tried going through control panel with no luck.

The nt resource kit only shows shared files, not any file that is in use, and that is really what I need above all else. Do you know of another NT Resource utility that shows actual files that are in use?

Thanks -db

The "netwatch" utility shows shares, in a treeview and in each share, what user is connected, an in each user, what files are he or she using an if you right click in a particular file, you can see if the file is locked for write, and you can close the file.

Maybe is not confortable but may help you now.

Sorry i cant help with the trouble itself.

p.d.: forgive my bad english.

Charly.
