When using Win 2000 in peer to peer configuration (no server and using IPX/SPX) an application local to the workstation can access its local LPT1 dongle but when logged into a Win 2000 Server (using TCPIP) the application can no longer access its dongle ... what does logging into a network server have to do with local hardware access? Is there something that can be set up to correct this? The software application is supplied from a company that does not deal with anything more then stand alone solutions and has no idea how to proceed.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
