I've got some serious problem on my Win2K server where i got this error message "c:\windows\system32\Isass.exe terminated unexpectedly with status code 128. system will now restarted....etc"

I don't know where this problem came from and why? any idea how to fix this problem?

first off, check your logs and see if there are any clues there!
if you have errors you need help interpreting, try
LSASS is the local security subsystem, if this crashes the PC reboots to preserve itself - this might or might not be a virus, make sure of this as well!

i really found no clues on how to fix this problem. my logs give me no clues to fix this problem. I tried microsoft website and it only said about using service pack 4 while i already using service pack 4.

This error only happened when i connect my server into network, but when i leave it stand alone everything run normal

does your server have all the windows updates? i've seen simial problem before and sounds like someone is trying to hack or its virus problem.

i would install all the windows update ASAP, disable all the non-microsoft service and start up items and see if this keeps happening.
