Server Edition and SCN

Little bit confused about Websocket Trunks between Servers and Gtways and SCN ones, I mean that I have been told that a part the SE nodes between Servers and IP500 (licensed) you can set up a SCN LINK to inter-network the Server Edition Solution 1 to a Server Edidtion Solution 2, and again and again.
For my unterstanding this is not allowed by the system because it would be realized a huge SCN network with no limits in nodes.

Maximum limit of SE nodes is 150 (2 Servers + 148 Gateways), the connection between nodes is websocket based eve if you can deactivate and set as simply SCN

You can use IP trunks to link one SE network to another. You just won't get SCN features between the two networks.
