Hi All

Has anyone experienced upgrading server edition 9.1.0 ova to 9.1.4. I have just done this and a few things went awry afterwards.

User rights. All users on Server Edition lost their user rights.

None of the IP phones (96XX) automatically upgraded. They had to be hard booted to upgrade which was a pain.

SE Upgrade doesn't force the phones to reboot if I am right. Nevertheless... Either on SE or IP500 I would always provide a valid 96x1Hupgrade.txt and do the phone upgrade before or after upgrading the system itself.

Upgrading works best by booting from ISO and chose the upgrade option.

Regardless what way I did the upgrade so far I had no problems with lost user rights or something similar.

Loss of user rights I have ran into on SE when receiving a consolidation report and selecting update primary instead of reconsolidate, could have possibly been your issue there.

Hi

Thanks for your replies

I followed the upgrade process as per the documentation.

I have 3 expansions attached to the server edition, I only had to redo one of them. That expansions have no users programmed, it is only there as a tdm gateway.

How does Upgrade Primary work if 2 out of three expansions are fine? It removed all users from user rights including the 2 working expansions.
