Have you tried to join the pc back to workgroup, reboot, then rejoin the domain? If you get an error saying the credentials already exist when rejoining the domain, delete the computer name from the server and retry.

is the server running Net/bui and is the Pc running Net/bui ?
If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

NetBEUI isn't necessary for a W2K network. If you're still having problems seeing the server, add the servers ip into WINS on the pc side. Does just about the same function w/o having another service running.

Is the client PC a w9x box and if so the you need to have netbeui on the server and the client. Also make sure that you give the client user direct rights to the share that it needs to see. I have fought this battle many times

I just figured the client pc was running 2000 b/c this is the 2000 forum.
