I am not an expert at the Nortel Option 61c system.
Is there a way to get the serial numbers of the phones that are connected to the switch?

ld 117
===> inv generate sets (generate inventary for digital
sets only)

===> inv prt sets (for print inventary after received a
message indicating finish inventary)

thank you for this info, I am specifically trying to find the serial numbers of each set connected without having to go to each office and turn the phone over. In the NTP's it states that it will give the DES, Primary DN, etc...and also the setID, what is the set ID?

I'm not familiar with what the other respondents are telling you but if you IDU the TN you will get the set's serial number. But not on M2317 sets. But I think this needs to be done on a set-by-set basis.

In LD 32 you can get the model and serial number of a specific set.

IDU l s c u

Where
l - loop
s - shelf
c - card
u - unit

Thanks everyone. I just ran the inv generate and prt sets in ld 117 and it gave me everything I needed and more.

Thanks,

rick

btw ny, you can also do a inv on your cards, another great command for larger switches is ld 32 idcs x with x =to the xpe's of your loops,, that tells you the card id on each loop, ld 97 prt xpe might help

You can generate and print the list of inventory set of M1 component in LD117.
