serial mouse to ps2

I have a switch box with serial ports or ps2 ports for mice. The XP system has mouse with ps2 and the old OS2/AT system has 9 pin serial port for mouse. I have to use the serial ports for the switch box since OS2/AT doesn't have PS2 + the new XP system has only one serial port. I want to change the serial to ps2.

The old serial serial use pins 2/3 for tx/rx and 9 for ground?

Does anyone have the schematic for conversion from serial to ps2?

Why don't you save yourself alot of trouble and just buy a seril to PS/2 adapter??
