Separate pivot table into multiple sheets 2

I have an Excel spreadsheet that has 4500 rows of data. I would like to separate the spreadsheet by MgrName. In other words, I would like a separate tab for each Manager. I suggested to them that they would use filters, but they want a separate spreadsheet for each manager so that each manager can click on their names on the tab.

Is there a way to do this?

From the pivot wizard > layout button...

drag the manager name field to the "Page" area of the design grid.

then managers can choose their name from the drop down created, and the pivot will filter it dynamicaly.

....much cleaner & easier to manage!

I wouldn't even consider letting them move to data on separate tabs. The way you have it now is such that it can be queried using Filters and Pivot tables and such like, whereas if you go to separate tabs you will lose a lot of that simplicity.

If they really need it on separate sheets then simply create different Pivot Reports on separate sheets using the same source data. This way they can see their own sheet, but it will be linked back to a single sheet with all the raw data, and you can still do all the analysis quite easily then.

Ken - even better idea:
Create 1 pivot table
Manager as page field
Click on PivotTable dropdown on menubar
Select Show Pages
Sit back and smile at how easy it is
