One of my users is complaining that when he sends an e-mail, most of the time there is no copy saved in the "Sent Items" folder.

Is there any way to verify this?
 
Have the user open their outlook.

Tools->Options

Click Email Options
Check the box that says "Save a copy of sent messages to Sent Items Folder"

it is selected.
but still....some e-mails are not saved...
 
Thats exactly the problem.....it is Random.
(Or I could not find any connection. Differen addersses, different times, with and without attachments....)

I don't think its a setting issue since most of the e-mails ARE saved
 
Create a new profile in Outlook and see if the problem goes away.

Have the user try OWA and see if the problem appears there as well.
