I am trying to click on a command button (form), and use the Sendobject function. The problem is , I want to fill in the FROM field for the users.

I came up with the Sendkeys ability - but can't get it to work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Nikki

give more detail..

you have a button that you want the users to click on and then it fills in a textbox???

I'm sorry...
It is an appointment tracking form.
If the customer says ok - the user will click the comand button to send a confirmation email with the appointment information. I am using the sendobject function for this... It works fine. The problem is - it has been decided that we would like to use a custom email FROM address on the email.
I can not figure out how to fill the FROM iin the email automatically from this step.....

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Nik

what you can do is, have a combobox on the form that the user can pick from. then just tie your FROM to the text of the combobox..

Sendobject opens Outlook.......The FROM field that I need to populate is in the Outlook email....

SendObject has criteria for populating TO, SUBJECT - but not the FROM.

We don't want people on the internet to see the users from email address - we want to use a standard appointment@desk.com in the from.

How can I automate that into Outlook from Access launch?

:)
