Sending many email questions

First of all let me say that this is NOT Spam related. I hate it as much as anybody outhere!

What I'm wandering about for a long time now, is what would be the best way of sending a message to many emails (2000+)
through CDONTS or ASPEmail.

I don't have access to the scheduler so I can't really split the list into butches of 100 emails or so.

How much stress is it on the server to send the 2000+ emails
at one time, considering that the ASP page won't time out ?

What would be the maximum recommended number of email to be send through CDONTS or ASPEmail at one time ? 10? 20? 100?

well yeah...I wouldnt try the lot at once on either cdonts or aspemail. Ive only ever sent about 15 -20 at once using aspemail. That worked fine.

I spose you could write your own kind of scheduler in asp using a few fancy loops and stuff.
